Print, Collage, Stitch; The Language of Marks
On this creative, lively and multidisciplinary course you will explore and discover the uniqueness and versatility of Print combined with Machine Stitch. Working with Multilayered Mono-print mark making and an etching press and combining this with methods of assemblage you will learn about processes of layering and reinterpretation. Mono-printing is especially exciting when used as a multilayered process and you will have the opportunity to explore a variety of ways to create expressive, and sometimes unexpected, marks by using found objects and 'painterly' techniques.  You will also learn how to reinvent and develop your results using methods of deconstruction and reassembly using the colourful, textural and linear mark making of machine stitch.
